Provides a safe and accepting environment for youth.
Circulos sagrados or Healing circles are a safe and accepting environment in which our scholars at Federal Way Open Doors and Career Academy are able to explore healing. Through the Circulos Sagrados we help scholars explore ways of deepening their capacity to heal, alleviating suffering, and find meaning in both challenge and joy.
*Youth/Demographic Served: 9th-12th grade high school students from Federal Way Open Doors and Career Academy.
*Outcome: Create a safe and accepting environment in which students can share their experiences while improving communication and emotional intelligence.
