Community Connectors in the Food Bank

The high cost of living in Seattle makes it difficult for many families to choose between paying housing, healthcare, utilities and food.

The Community Connector program helps food bank participants apply for public benefits and services that meet their needs including SNAP (Food stamps), utilities discount program, energy assistance program, apple health, free cell phone and low cost internet etc. Food bank participants gain access and receive benefits and services while accessing food at El Centro de la Raza Food Bank.
